Welk Resort San Diego's two 18-hole public golf courses are scenic masterpieces designed by David Rainville (Fountains) and Jim Brown (Oaks). Both the Oaks Golf Course and Fountains Golf Course are designated by GOLF DIGEST as "Best Places to Play" and offer challenging play for experienced and novice golfers alike. All-around Golf Experience

In addition to 36 holes of play, golfers can practice their short game on one of two practice greens or on the chipping green. Free golf clinics are available to Welk Resort Guests and Welk Resort Members. Charitee Hole-in-One Challenge at Welk's Fountains Course

Welk Resort is pleased to be the first golf course in San Diego County to offer the new Charitee Hole-in-one Monitoring System. This Charitee golf system, now featured on hole 14 of The Fountains course, allows the golfer to purchase a $5 voucher prior to playing and if they make a hole-in-one they can receive a cash award of $10,000 or a two-year lease on a 2008 H3 Hummer. A percentage of all proceeds go to Escondido's North County Serenity House. In addition to the hole-in-one awards, each golfer that is within 2 feet of the hole earns a $100 pro shop voucher and all participants receive a $5 off Pro Shop merchandise or $5 off their next golf round at Welk San Diego Resorts.
